Mason Lowe Scholarship

In honor of fallen PBR rider Mason Lowe, the PBR has established a scholarship program to assist students who plan to continue their education in college or vocational school programs. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, age, gender, disability, or national origin.

Applicants to the Mason Lowe Memorial Scholarship must be:

High school seniors, or graduates, or current undergraduates
Plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school that offers at least one of the following extracurricular programs in which the applicant will participate:
- Rodeo/Western Sports
- Agriculture

In partnership with Western Sports Foundation, the PBR will present five students in 2022/2023 with $1,000 each.

Students will submit a current, complete transcript of grades. Grade reports are not accepted. Transcripts must display student name, school name, grades and credit hours for each course, and term in which each course was taken.

Also, as part of their application, one recommendation form must be submitted on the student’s behalf.
